The Beginning of Avoir

I'm Nakamura from Avoir.

I myself underwent breast cancer surgery about 11 years and 9 months ago.

After finishing radiation and other treatments, I went to a specialty store for a mastectomy bras.

What I saw there was almost the same mastectomy bras that my grandmother used after breast cancer surgery 40 years ago.

It wasn't fashionable at all, it was just the underwear that an elderly woman was wearing. After the surgery, I wanted to live looking forward and dress up after the surgery, so I couldn't hide my shock. Japan But women are active in society! I'm fashionable, go out, and stick to society!

At that time, I was a manager at the company. In order to motivate myself to work hard in society, I wanted to decide on underwear based on the day's work, schedule, and mood.

With the primary purpose of hiding the operated breasts, the breast cancer bra is only an inconspicuous shade of beige.

There were few stylish and motivating mastectomy bras.

That's what I thought. Am I the only one who has experienced breast cancer and still wants to wear stylish mastectomy bras I'm sure many women are looking for a stylish, functional and comfortable mastectomy bras.

I went to places that sold it in the Japan and bought it if I found it in a web shop, but I couldn't find a stylish, functional, and comfortable mastectomy bras.

So, I quit the company and launched this Avoir to create my own company.
